Lattice Semiconductor has discontinued thousands of ordering part numbers across its mature FPGA and legacy product lines. This page is the index of everything we have verified from Lattice's own Product Change Notifications: 3,494 discontinued part numbers, each with its notice, its last-time-buy and last-shipment dates, and — where Lattice printed one — the recommended replacement.
If you are maintaining a design built on a mature Lattice device, start here: find the dataset that covers your part family, check the free sample records, and take the full cross-reference only if it covers what you need.
All 610 ordering part numbers from the notice that discontinued the LatticeEC/P and LatticeXP product families in their entirety (July 25, 2013). Every record carries Lattice's printed Recommendation 1 replacement; 60 LatticeXP records carry a second, MachXO2, recommendation.
2,185 ordering part numbers from Lattice's discontinuation of all SnPb (tin-lead) OPNs along with select mature product families (June 23, 2015). 1,471 records carry a spreadsheet-flagged available replacement; every record carries at least one printed suggestion.
532 records from five archive PCNs (11A-11, 08B-12, 14A-12, 06A-16, 11A-13) — including the iCE65 parts with printed iCE40 alternatives. 418 records carry a printed potential alternative.
167 records: the Select Silicon Image device discontinuance (PCN#26-04, July 15, 2026 — last time buy 2027-01-15, still open) and the ispMACH 4A / SATA / PanelLink discontinuance (PCN 03B-23). 128 records carry a printed alternate.
Work from the ordering part number (OPN) exactly as printed on your BOM — Lattice discontinues at OPN level, so the same device in a different package or speed grade can have a different status and a different replacement.
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Find your part family above (LatticeEC/XP → v4, SnPb-suffix OPNs → v3, iCE65 → v2, Silicon Image / ispMACH 4A → v1) and open the free sample records on that dataset's page. |
| 2 | Note the notice's last-time-buy date. If it has passed, the part is no longer orderable from Lattice — remaining stock only. |
| 3 | Check the printed replacement's package and voltage against your board. Lattice's replacements are not always drop-in compatible. |
| 4 | For the full cross-reference, fetch the dataset file: GET /data/lattice-eol-migration-v4.md → HTTP 402 → pay 0.01 USDC → 200 with the complete Markdown file. |
How can I check whether a Lattice Semiconductor part is discontinued?
Check the ordering part number against Lattice's Product Change Notifications. This page indexes the 3,494 Lattice part numbers we have verified from those notices, with the replacement Lattice printed for each part.
What does last time buy (LTB) mean?
The last date the manufacturer accepts orders for a discontinued part. After it passes, the part is only available from remaining distributor stock or the secondary market — which is exactly when a verified replacement cross-reference matters most.
Are Lattice's recommended replacements drop-in compatible?
Not always. PCN 06B-13 warns that its LatticeEC/P and LatticeXP replacements "are not pin and/or voltage compatible and require redesign of the board." Always verify package and voltage before committing a design or a purchase order.
Where does this data come from?
Every record is extracted from a Lattice-authored document — the PCN notice PDFs and the affected-part spreadsheets they link — downloaded from Lattice Semiconductor's own website. No part number, date or replacement is inferred.
