Series-level lifecycle status taken from Honeywell Process Solutions' own public publications: the monthly System HINTS newsletters and Benefits Guardianship newsletters Honeywell posts on process.honeywell.com. It covers the coaxial TPN/LCN/UCN node families of the TPS / TDC era (EPLCG, EHB, ENIM, ETN, NG, ACE-T, EAPP, ES-T, ESV-T, AM, HPM, NIM, SBHM, SMM, FSC, DHEB, PCUS, UCNE, XLCNE — all Phased Out 31 December 2025), alarm and security software/services (ACM, PCN Monitoring), engineering tools and system software (ControlEdge Builder R170.x/R171.x, Experion PKS R501.x), QCS (Experion MX R704.x, MXProLine), the MLPLC BACnet modules (2MLL-BIPT / 2MLL-BIPT-CC), and seven Experion PKS computing platforms (MZ-PCST03, MZ-PCST04, MZ-PCSR04, MZ-PCSR05, MZ-PCSR06, MZ-PCIS02, MZ-PCTB02) transitioned to End of Sale. Honeywell's formal Product Support Guide requires a customer login; these newsletter announcements are its public, dated lifecycle record, and that is exactly what this file records.
Two records are time-critical and still in the future: ACM (Alarm Configuration Manager) enters Phased-Out Support on 31 December 2026 and loses all support on 31 December 2027 — Honeywell's stated aim is migration to Alarm Performance Optimizer (APO) by that date; and the PCN Monitoring service ceases operations at the end of 2027, with contract terms unable to extend beyond 31 December 2027. The coax era has already closed: all 19 coaxial node records are in Phased Out status as of 31 December 2025 (no new parts, commercially reasonable support effort only), with one deliberate exception — FSC Series 2 I/O is intended to be supported at least until 2035.
Honesty notes: All source PDFs (System HINTS March 2021, February 2019, May 2023, January, February and June 2026; Benefits Guardianship Q1 2026) were downloaded and text-extracted in full during verification — the March 2021, February 2019 and May 2023 reads arrived as late handoffs, and a same-night correction pass folded in the 10th already-Legacy coax node (XLCNE), the two Experion MX Traditional MD/CD records, and the corrected Experion PKS R501.x phase-out date (31 March 2023). Items seen only in third-party mirrors (TPS Builder, console furniture, workstation LTB tables) were deliberately excluded. Where Honeywell names no successor, the replacement cell says so — the computing-platform announcement lists new models without one-to-one pairing, and none is paired here.
Verification standard: official Honeywell sources only (process.honeywell.com System HINTS and Benefits Guardianship PDFs). Honeywell's other businesses (Productivity scanners/printers, Buildings, Sensing & Safety) were deliberately NOT used — this dataset is Honeywell Process (Experion / legacy DCS) only.
| Product Family | Catalog/Series | Lifecycle Status | Recommended Replacement / Migration Path |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coaxial TPN / LCN nodes (TPS / TDC era) | EPLCG — Enhanced Programmable Logic Controller Gateway | Withdrawn from sales + Legacy Lifecycle phase per the March 2021 notification; Phased Out per the January 2026 reminder — Withdrawn / Legacy: 1 March 2021; Phased Out: 31 December 2025 | Experion LCN (ELCN) equivalent — "For all impacted nodes, there is an ELCN equivalent solution available for migration" (March 2021); January 2026 reminder: modernize to Experion / C300PM / Safety Manager platforms |
| Coaxial TPN / UCN safety controllers (already Legacy) | FSC — Fail Safe Controller | Legacy (January 2026 reminder's scope expressly includes "FSC controllers"); Phased Out 31 December 2025 | Safety Manager — March 2024 HINTS: "Customers should plan and execute the migration of FSC controllers to Safety Managers prior to the end of 2025". FSC Series 2 I/O is intended to be supported at least until 2035 |
| Software — alarm management (Experion) | ACM — Alarm Configuration Manager (legacy release R321) | End of Life: End of Sale 31 December 2025; Phased-Out Support begins 31 December 2026; End of Support 31 December 2027 | APO — Alarm Performance Optimizer (R3.0.0, with a built-in ACM→APO migration option) |
| Software — PLC engineering tool | ControlEdge Builder R170.x and R171.x (R170.1, R170.1 HF3, R170.1 P1 (For ELMM), R171.1, R171.1 HF1) | End of Support announcement (January 2026 HINTS): enters phase-out stage 1 May 2026 | ControlEdge Builder R180 (or the latest software version released by Honeywell); on-process upgrades supported for redundant controllers |
| PLC communication module (MasterLogic) | MLPLC BACnet modules 2MLL-BIPT and 2MLL-BIPT-CC | End of Sale announcement → "Phase Out" support status from 1 July 2026 (June 2026 HINTS) | Modbus TCP to BACnet converter for BACnet functionality requirements (no Honeywell successor module named) |

Full file: all 35 series-level records (19 coaxial TPN/LCN/UCN, 8 software/service/QCS, 1 MLPLC module, 7 Experion computing platforms), plus migration notes and a coverage-gaps section explaining why mirror-only items and the status tables' blanket phase-out rule were deliberately excluded.
